Fair Isle is a windswept island in Shetland, famous for its traditional colourwork knitting. During her many trips to the island, Mary Jane has been inspired by the its rich textile traditions, and learned about Fair Isle knitting by looking at old textiles and sharing stories and knowledge around a cup of tea. Now, she has created a gorgeous collection of designs which she would take with her for a weekend trip to Shetland when a carry-on bag is all you have to carry onto the boat.
