Unleash your creativity and save your favourite garments all at once! Whether you prefer a delicate, understated aesthetic or bold, vibrant details, this workshop will let you explore different ways of repairing your garments.
We will look at how to repair both knitted and woven fabrics, and discuss which techniques are most suitable for different types of fabric. You’ll get to try a range of techniques, including duplicate stitch, darning, embroidery, sashiko and appliqué.
You will receive a toolkit containing everything you need for the day, including a range of swatches to work on, so there’s no need to bring anything with you. However, if you have a garment in need of repair that you’d like to work on.
Saturday 18th November, 11am-4pm
