Workshops

Stag and Bow host a continuously evolving wide programme of workshops from beginners’ standards - knitting, crochet and understanding your sewing machine - to more advanced classes in spoon carving, felting, lino printing and more. We also run classes themed round new book and product launches. Many of our tutors are local makers.

Marbling is addictive - fact! If you love colour, pattern and all
things paper, then this is the class for you! Come and make a stack of
your very own decorative papers. On this half day course you will
learn how to mix the marbling bath, the best paints and inks to use,
and how to prepare your paper for marbling. You'll also get to try a
range of contemporary and traditional patterns. Your creations will be ready to collect the following day or we are happy to post them to you

About your tutor:
Freya Scott of Paperwilds is a bookbinder and paper marbler working
out of a studio in south east London. She works on various commissions
and projects, while also producing products and papers for her
business. She has been teaching both bookbinding and marbling for over
5 years in various places across the country. Her claim to fame is
that she once made a book for Alan Sugar.

All participants will receive a 10% discount in the Stag & Bow shop for the duration of the class.
