Stag and Bow, founded in 2010 by Pascale Spall and Cyrus Colquitt, is a beautiful Haberdashery in an old Victorian shop in Forest Hill. Once an undertakers, the shop is now a vibrant celebration of contemporay making, skill sharing, stories and traditional knowledge and materials. Informal, informative and inspiring craft and textile workshops keep the skills and traditions of the textile industry alive and kicking in south London.
Pascale, trained in weaving, is happiest with fingers in many pies - from weaving to tailoring a garment from the woven cloth, to making tea for craft morning and running the shop. She has previously run a successful children’s clothing and accessories label and is evangelical about materials, their history and the processes of production. The shop is a true gem, where history and contemporary practice fuse perfectly.
The lovely staff are all expert makers in different fields. Pascale and Cyrus regularly take on private commissions for bespoke furniture, clothing, homewares and more. Please pop in and talk to us directly or drop us a line via email or telephone. Cyrus can be contacted through the Framing Salon website.
Our shop is a stones throw away from Forest Hill train station with great connections to London Bridge mainline services
