Shop Front

Stag and Bow, founded in 2010 by Pascale Spall and Cyrus Colquitt, is a beautiful Haberdashery & Textile Studio in an old Victorian shop in Forest Hill. Once an undertakers, the shop is now a vibrant celebration of contemporary making, skill sharing, stories and traditional knowledge and materials. Informal, informative and inspiring craft and textile workshops keep the skills and traditions of the textile industry alive and kicking in south London.

Pascale loves Textiles and has her fingers in all the pies - A Couture trained Dressmaker who majored in Weaving at university her skillset encompasses most Textile practices. She enjoys facilitating Textile workshops at home & away (in house, corporate & community led projects), running & building the business & being an active part of the local and wider community. Her passion is to gently guide reconnection to Ourselves, The Earth & The Divine through Textiles at grass roots level. She is evangelical about materials, Their history and the processes of production.  The shop is a true gem, where history and contemporary practice fuse perfectly.

The lovely staff are all expert makers in different fields. Pascale and Cyrus regularly take on private commissions for bespoke furniture, clothing, homewares and more. Please pop in and talk to us directly or drop us a line via email or telephone.

In 2012 we opened up our sister business 'The Framing Salon' next door which Cyrus runs full time. Cyrus can be contacted through the Framing Salon website.

Our shop is a stones throw away from Forest Hill train station with great connections to London Bridge mainline services
