Seersucker is not suitable for draping as the weave is 'packed', lending itself to a delightful textured blouse or pair of tailored shorts or capri pants. Seersucker is made by having an extra back beam on the loom that holds the warp at a slightly looser tension when weaving. Giving it its signature 'wobbly' stripes. Magic.
