The Tree of life is a symbol of our connectedness with everything. This beautiful hand block print in cornflower blue on a crisp white muslin base will make a dreamy floaty garment, enable calm and diffused light as a window dressing or make a pretty lining on a summer jacket. The dye is colourfast but we reccomend washing colours seperately on a cool wash. Muslin is an open plain weave fabric, this muslin has a closer weave than the other muslins we sell, giving it stability but not compromising its softness and drape.

 The hand made nature of this fabric gives variations in print and weave. This is a celebration of the fabrics journey and we believe should be honoured duly! The fabric is produced by a small fair trade community in rural India, The cotton is grown locally without pesticides (although non certified organic as this costs the farmers too much money).  Suitable for summer dresses, tops, skirts, trousers, light jackets with lining.
